Bacon & Caramelized Onion Deviled Eggs

A quick and easy recipe when I’m running late to a holiday potluck, thanks to @egglandsbest Hard-Cooked Peeled Eggs! They’re ready to eat and packed with protein, which makes assembling these Bacon & Caramelized Onion Deviled Eggs easy when you’re trying to get out the door on time.

What you need

tsp paprika

slice bacon
sweet onion

tsp dijon mustard

tbsp mayonnaise

hard-boiled egg
Instructions
1. Bake or pan-cook the bacon according to package instructions. Once done, remove and pat dry with a paper towel, set aside. 2. Dice and cook the sweet onion until golden and caramelized, set aside. 3. Slice eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks. 4. In a small bowl, mash yolks with mayonnaise, Country Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth. 5. Fold in the caramelized onions and most of the crumbled bacon (reserve some for garnish). 6. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. 7. Sprinkle the reserved bacon over the top. 8. Optional: dust paprika 9. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.View original recipe
