My Mom's Lasagna

Lasagna can be considered spaghetti flavored cake. Change my mind 🤔 Thank you to my mom who made this gorgeous lasagna! Recipe below - it was super hard to put this recipe into words👇🏼

What you need

pt ricotta cheese
egg

lb ground meat

lasagna noodles

oz shredded mozzarella
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. Cook lasagna pasta (about 12 lasagna noodles or so) and drain. 3. While noodles are cooking, cook 1-2 lbs of ground meat (then drain grease). 4. Mix 1 pint of ricotta with one egg and set aside. 5. Mix sauce of choice (we used 1 and a half of @raoshomemade Jars sized 32oz). 6. Put some sauce at the bottom of the pan you use (we used 9 x 13) and spread the sauce. 7. Place cooked lasagna noodles down on the pan. 8. Then layer it with the mixed meat and sauce. 9. Then put one scoop of the mixed ricotta egg mixture on each section and spread evenly. 10. Add some mozzarella cheese (we used mozzarella shredded cheese). 11. Repeat layering. 12. Put the final lasagna noodles at the top of your final layer and then do not add anymore ricotta egg mixture! Instead put meat and sauce mixture and only mozzarella cheese (or cheese of your choosing). 13. Cover it with foil for about 25-30 mins (keeping an eye on it!). 14. Enjoy!
