What you need

cup shredded cheddar

oz boursin cheese

tbsp butter

tbsp flour

lb elbow macaroni

cup milk
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Melt 5 tbsp butter in a pot over medium heat. 2. In another pot, boil water and cook pasta according to package directions. 3. Once butter is melted, add 5 tbsp flour and whisk until well combined and smooth to form a roux. 4. Heat 3 cups milk in microwave until warm and whisk slowly into the roux until thick. 5. Carefully add 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese and mix until well combined. If using, add the block of Boursin cheese here as well. 6. If needed, add one extra cup of milk to reach desired consistency. 7. Add the cheesy roux to the cooked pasta in a 9x13 oven safe dish and mix well. 8. Top with breadcrumbs and 1 layer of the remaining shredded cheese. 9. Place baking dish into the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden. It is optional to broil for the last couple of minutes for extra crispiness.View original recipe
