Premio Sausage and Mozzarella Pasta

We all know the feta pasta trend, but have you experimented with it? I added some sausage and swapped the feta for mozzarella! One of my favorite things to do is spread joy through the kitchen, which is why I did this change up using #premiofoods.

What you need

tsp garlic powder

fl oz olive oil

oz penne pasta

sweet italian sausage

oz fresh tomatoes

mozzarella cheese

tbsp water

oz fresh spinach
tsp salt & pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. Add 5 tablespoons of water and place Premio Sausage in a pan and cover for about 12 minutes over medium heat. Continuously turn the sausages throughout this time. 3. Remove the lid and cook for about 5-10 minutes or until thoroughly cooked. 4. Add mozzarella block to the middle of a medium to large baking dish. 5. Add small tomatoes surrounding the mozzarella block. 6. Top with a lot of olive oil. 7. Add oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. 8. Put into oven for about 20 minutes. 9. While the mozzarella, tomatoes, and spices are cooking, cut cooked sausages into small pieces. 10. Once the 20 minutes is up, add the chopped sausages to the mozzarella, tomatoes, and spices for about 15-20 minutes. 11. While the sausages are cooking with the other ingredients, boil water for pasta. 12. Once boiled, add penne and cook according to packaging. 13. Once pasta is cooked and mozzarella and sausage are done, add pasta to the mozzarella and sausage baking dish, and mix-in spinach until wilted. Everything should be mixed at this point! 14.
