What you need

italian sausage

cup shredded cheddar

tbsp butter

cup milk

tbsp flour

lb elbow macaroni
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F, once preheated put sausage (or follow instructions of sausage packaging) in a baking dish lined with tin foil and a little bit of oil or parchment paper. Put into oven for 45 minutes. 2. Wait about 10 minutes and then begin to prep roux 3. Melt butter in a pot over medium heat 4. In another pot, boil water and cook pasta 5. Once melted, add flour and whisk until well combined and smooth 6. Heat milk in a microwave until warm and whisk carefully into roux until thick 7. Carefully add 2 cups of cheese and mix until well combined 8. Add one more cup of milk. 9. By now, the Premio Sausage and pasta should be done cooking 10. Leave preheated at 400°F on 11. Add cheesy roux to the cooked sausage and pasta, be sure it is completely covered 12. Put sausage mac and cheese into a 9x13 baking dish 13. Top with breadcrumbs and 1 cup of cheese (optional) 14. Place baking dish with sausage mac and cheese into the oven for about 20-30 minutes 15. Remove from oven and enjoy!View original recipe
