What you need

candy cane

box shortbread cookies
dried fruit
Instructions
1. Carefully remove mini sheet cake by popping out of container and using a spatula to remove it from container. 2. Place mini sheet cake onto parchment paper. 3. Rinse a spatula or knife in hot water, dry it off, and spread the frosting evenly (if the frosting sticks to spatula or knife, repeat the rinse and dry process). 4. Carefully, rinse a large knife in hot water, dry it off and cut the cake into triangles. Tip: in between each cut, rinse the knife in hot water, dry it, and slice! This will ensure smooth edges! 5. Fix the triangles so the top is facing up and place a Dark Chocolate Covered Shortbread Cookie Star at the top of each triangle. 6. Then break off each hook of a candy cane, and stick it into the bottom side of the triangle to create a “tree base.” You can use any stick looking edible item for the base. 7. Crush up extra candy canes or freeze dried fruit and use as ornaments. 8. Serve and enjoy!View original recipe
