What you need

tsp ground cinnamon

cup all purpose flour

tsp cinnamon

fl oz lemon juice

cup butter

cup old fashioned oats

tbsp sugar

honey crisp apples

cup light-brown sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Peel and slice your apples and add to mixing bowl. 3. To the same mixing bowl, add 2 tbsp sugar, 3/4 tsp of ground cinnamon, and juice of half a lemon and mix! My apples went flying out of my mixer so fair warning 😂 4. Pour mixture into a greased pan (I used 8x8 pan) and set aside. 5. In a separate bowl, add 3/4 cup of old fashioned oats, 1 cup of light brown sugar, 1 tsp of ground cinnamon, 3/4 cup of all purpose flour and 1/2 cup of butter (you’ll want to mash the butter with a fork into the mixture a bit after mixing cause I t’ll clump up!). 6. Spread mix on top of your apples in pan. 7. Bake at 350°F for 50-60 mins until golden! 8. Now this was totally my mistake LOL - I forgot to add the rest of the 1/2 cup of butter (I only added 1/4 cup) so when I realized, I ended up adding slices of the rest of the butter to the top (you won’t forget, but if you do like me, this is a good alt) if you remembered to add the whole 1/2 cup , SKIP THIS! 9. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream!View original recipe
